Scappoose School District is aware that many families are experiencing difficulties during these trying economic times.   All children need healthy meals.  Families may qualify for FREE breakfast or FREE and Reduced lunch. Dear Otto Petersen Elementary Parents,

“Back to School” ads will soon remind us all that the new school year is on its way!  The 2009-2010 school year will be our last at Otto H. H. Petersen Elementary.  The school has served Scappoose students for 100 years, and we hope to make the last year a great one.  We also hope to celebrate this wonderful building in a ceremony next spring as we get ready to transition into the new Otto Petersen Elementary.  The work on the new school is moving fast.
