Scappoose School District combines many of the benefits of both a rural and an urban school district. Positioned within Columbia County and yet within easy commuting distance of Metro Portland, our schools boast class sizes and a culture that allow us to very effectively focus on individual student needs. Our caring staff along with our supportive community and School Board, values each and every student, and strive to supply what is essential to achieving personal and academic growth for all. In Scappoose we are fortunate in the number and quality of our volunteers, and we truly value how they enrich our programs in helping to more strongly link our community to our schools.
